My Journey
A decade of code, community, and continuous learning
From Pakistan with Code
My journey began in 2012 as a front-end freelancer in Pakistan. What started as freelancing quickly became a passion for building things that matter.
I was fortunate to be mentored by incredible developers like Aamer Shahzad, Ahmad Awais, Nouman Yaqoob, and Fahad Murtaza - whose guidance shaped my approach to both code and community.
By 2015, I had published my first WordPress plugin 'Animated Featured Image' on WordPress.org, marking the beginning of my contribution to the open-source community.
Building Community
The WordPress community became my home. In 2018, I spoke at WordCamp Karachi about modern theme development with Sage 9 and Laravel's Blade templating engine.
That same year, I co-organized WordCamp Islamabad, and by 2019, I was leading its organization. These experiences taught me that sharing knowledge multiplies its value.
The Founder Chapter
In 2020, I founded Revnix, channeling everything I'd learned into building solutions for startups and enterprises. The recognition followed: Codeable Certified Expert in 2021, Yoast Care Fund recipient for community contributions, and acceptance into Toptal's Top 3% of developers in 2023.
I've had the privilege of working with teams at Google Pixel, PCI Security Standards, KitBash3D, and more - tackling everything from WordPress VIP implementations to headless CMS architectures with Next.js.
Building in Public
Today, I'm focused on building WordPress products and SaaS tools in public. Every product, every lesson, every failure - I share it all.
